Looking at the magazines i noted for my front cover it is best to have a large image of the main story to help promote my magazine and make people buy it. By having a big picture i would be emphasizing the bands importance and priority in this magazine. I plan to have various subheadings like Nme magazine scatterd around the page and possibly in the middle to promote the band. The subheadings in a specific font and colour will be a defiante way to define and attract a suitable target audience.
From the mixmag cover i might place various subheadings above my title, offering free gifts, and my second main feature. I would use a slogan just below my title as featuered in some of these magazines.
