This is the first student magazine i found. It offers the readers a wide vairety of different genres, covering all audience profiles. (film, Music, Tv, Web, Thetare Art, Books, Comedy & Gaming). The front cover genrally reveal what the mian feautre is, inviting the reader to pick up the magazine and see what else there is to offer. Personally i feel its easier to attract and audience by using coverlines aswell as a main sell.
The lexis used in the reviews (left) <- is aimed at students, using a certain type of style of writing. The reviews revealed keen enthusiasts using "college like" terms "plonked" "mocumentary". In my magazine i would have students write the articles as they can relate to the audience, and the problems facing them.
